I did not previously make a post about this, but thought I'd go ahead and make a post as there is an on-going 7-star Tera Raid Battle for Normal-Tera type Dragonite in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. This event started on Thursday, August 22 at 5:00 PM PDT and will last until Sunday, September 1st at 4:59 PM PDT.
You can encounter this Dragonite at the black Tera Raid crystals.
Nintendo of America recently tweeted out that they will be pushing a software update for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet on December 1st. The update includes the following fixes:
Launch of Season 1 of Ranked Battles
Fixing the music that was not playing during battles against the Elite Four and Top Champion in Victory Road Path
Other select bug fixes
We do not know what other bug fixes this update will tackle, but if more information is released, I'll be sure to make a post.
Nintendo ends with the following statement regarding performance:
"We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games'
performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience
with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take the
feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the
games."
A couple pages from the CoroCoro magazine has begun to leak, showcasing a few images from the TCG, anime, and the upcoming games: Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet.
Please not that the image regarding the anime contains spoilers, so be careful in case you want to go into the Master 8's tournament blind.
While the images for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet don't contain anything substantial, it does give a couple of new insights regarding outfits, battle, and a mysterious dark image, which the contents are still being looked into. Will update this post if additional information comes about.
On today's Pokemon Direct, the next-line Pokemon games were announced, titled: Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. These games mark the introduction of generation 9, providing an open-world experience.
From the official Pokemon website:
"The Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, the newest chapters in the Pokémon series, are coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. With these new titles, the Pokémon series takes a new evolutionary step, allowing you to explore freely in a richly expressed open world."
"Various towns blend seamlessly into the wilderness with no borders. You’ll be able to see the Pokémon of this region in the skies, in the seas, in the forests, on the streets—all over! You’ll be able to experience the true joy of the Pokémon series—battling against wild Pokémon in order to catch them—now in an open-world game that players of any age can enjoy."
