Following the 24-hour livestream of the Glimwood Tangle forest in Pokemon Sword/Shield game, various Pokemon were found during the duration of the livestream, culminating to the reveal of what appears to be Galarian Ponyta forms.

During the livestream, moments of such Ponyta were showcased, at times obscured by  other Pokemon, like Impidimp, to build up to the reveal. Sirfetch'd Revealed for Pokemon Sword!

Earlier today, the official Pokemon website and YouTube channel revealed Farfetch's Galar evolution for Pokemon Sword, Sirfetch'd. Farfetch can evolve into Sirfetch'd after being exposed to a particular number of battles.

Sirfetch'd currently stands as an exclusive for Pokemon Sword (which could potentially indicate a new evolution or exclusive to possibly be announced for Pokemon Shield?? 👀 I guess we'll wait and see...)

Additionally, a new move called Meteor Smash was announced to be an exclusive attack that only Sirfetch'd can use where it "points its leek at the opponent and charges toward them at great speed. This move is devastatingly powerful! However, it appears that the move also puts great strain on Sirfetch'd. It will be unable to take action immediately after using this move."

Sirfetch'd

  • Category -- Wild Duck Pokemon
  • Type -- Fighting
  • Ability -- Steadfast
  • Height -- 2'7"
  • Weight -- 257.9
"The Farfetch’d of the Galar region can evolve into Sirfetch'd after experiencing many battles. They are calm and collected, and they make a point of always battling fairly. They are so noble in battle that they are often chosen as a motif for paintings. Of particular note is a painting—famous in the Galar region—that depicts a duel between a Sirfetch'd and an Escavalier. "

Welcome to Pokemon Vew!

This is the beginning of my blog, Pokemon Vew. A site dedicated towards sharing information and news regarding anything and everything Pokemon related. As someone that has grown up with Pokemon, it has had a profound impact where I'd dedicate my time to volunteer around other Pokemon sites as a staff member, create fan-made games (never ended up getting a working product in the end haha), and watching the show religiously. Now, I thought I'd take it a step further and contribute my efforts into creating a blog for fans all over the world to come view and enjoy.

Right now, my efforts will be focused around sharing up and coming Pokemon news and announcements (whenever they drop) and tuning the site and setting up pages, which will lead to information surrounding games, events, and more! Keep an eye out for that!

That wraps up my first post on this site. Be sure to follow the blog if this is something that will interest you. I look forward to taking this new journey along with you.
